I finally decided to get serious about blogging. I have had a “blog” for about nine months now and in the beginning, I posted quite a bit but I didn’t really know what sort of content I wanted and that showed through my posts. I was all over the place and as time went on I stopped sharing content because I no longer saw the point. At the beginning of the year, I had to ask myself a few very important questions about the blog which led to setting myself a goal and deciding if I still wanted to blog by the end of March. The catch was; if March ended and I hadn’t decided, then fate would have to do it for me (meaning no more talk of blogs). Well, that put me in check and voila! I am here, back and more than ready (mentally) to finally share parts of myself that I am proud/excited about.
I wore this outfit to work earlier this week, obviously with some tights, a blazer & a pair of flats and I got compliments on it (someone even thought it was a dress lol) so I decided to dress it up a little, and feature it on my blog! I figured since it has the whole green vibe going on, and Saint Patrick’s day just passed, it would be the perfect way to start out the style segment of the blog.
I decided to take the pictures by the trees, featuring nature because it felt more natural seeing that the outfit was green and the detailing on the top had leaves. This shoot definitely made me more aware of my surroundings; I guess seeing everything look pretty and clean inspired me to do better for the next generation who will be inheriting the earth from us.
The black and gold detailing in the outfit was really more to showcase the green (as it was the star of the show) than to over shadow it, and I really hope that I accomplished that. Blogging is really a great way to express one’s self creatively, and I am really grateful for the opportunity to be doing this and I am glad you all are here to share this journey with me!
