My Favorite Color is Burgundy (or wine) which is why I am completely in love with this look.I wanted a color that could bring out the richness of the wine which is why I decided to go for a nude (I think it looks more cream though) pair of shoes. It complements the color without also losing its shine.
I have worn the sweater on several occasions; most of them casual looks and so I was looking for an opportunity to dress it up. I decided to go for pants instead of a skirt because I wanted a powerful look (not that skirts aren’t powerful, I just take more powerful steps in pants ;))
I Shot this look at the Calvin seminary pond, not for any profound reason other than I was too lazy to go anywhere else. It was cold, and in all honesty, I didn’t feel like taking pictures but I guess when you get in front of the camera you just have to fake it till you make it. In the end, I had fun and that is what matters the most.
The outfit can be worn to work, church, and pretty much any place where you would look business casual. One could even wear a white shirt underneath the sweater for a more formal look.
I hoped this helped someone 🙂
