School Girl Swag

Michigan is finally getting its act together!!! We have had great weather for a week straight and I am pretty excited about that 😀 😀 because it means I can bring out all my summer pieces and put away all the winter ones!

Sadly this summer, I won’t be putting away any winter clothes cause I am selling everything since I am moving back to Nigeria 😦 and to be honest, I am having mixed feelings about it but I am choosing to trust God.

I love the really girly look that this outfit gives me and how every detail came together beautifully to make a simple yet chic ensemble. The skirt was a gift from one of my best friends, and it is exactly what I would have bought for myself .

I love that the skirt has a lot of texture to it. It is heavier than the average pleated skirt but it suits the body just well. It has its own structured shape so you don’t have to worry about it losing shape when you wash it. I also love the snakeskin and gold details on the bag, it was also a gift from one of my best friends.

I decided to wear my glasses ( I don’t like wearing my glasses to take pictures) with this outfit because I felt it completed the look I was going for. I kinda look like a school girl with my cute messenger bag and short skirt.

This outfit is giving me Nigerian secondary school girl vibes ;p just take off the heels and throw on a long pair of black socks and flats and you are good to go!

What I Am Wearing:

Shirt: Target
Skirt: gift (Ross)
Shoes: GoJane.com (online store) here
Bag: Justfab.com (online store)
Glasses: Warby Parker- I got the Holcomb design here
