Verses on Purpose~ Compilation of my Favorite Verses

I am going to be sharing with you some of my favorite verses.

Jeremiah 29:11~ For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (NKJV).

~I love this verse because it is a constant reminder that God has my back.

Jeremiah 29:7~ And seek the well-being of the city to which I have sent you, pray for it, for if it prospers you too will (Paraphrased).

~This verse reminds me to pray for whatever country or place I find myself in. Sometimes we end up in places we would rather not be in but when we put our faith in God and not the circumstances, things begin to change.

John 3:16~ For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (NKJV).

~Everyone knows this verse and probably takes it for granted but it is one of my favorites because it reminds me of the cross and what Jesus had to endure just so I can live a wonderful life.

Psalm 24: 1~ The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, The world, and those who dwell in it (AMP).

~This reminds me that this world is God’s and He has the power. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I am reminded to put my trust in the God who owns the world

Philippians 4:13~ I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] (AMP)

~Remembering to put God first in everything that I do no matter how little is so important to me. This, in fact, is my mantra for 2017. When God is in it, you literally can do anything!

James 1:4~But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing (NKJV).

~Patience in all that I do, learning to process in silence and understanding that not everything/everyone requires a response. This verse is the perfect reminder to trust God as he gives us only what is perfect.

I hope these verses bless you all.
